What weighted splitting means
Shares express relative portions. Someone with 2 shares pays twice as much as someone with 1 share; someone with 0.5 pays half as much. The final cent is assigned carefully so every allocation adds back to the exact total.
Person’s amount = total × (their shares ÷ all shares)
